SDK overview #
Four client SDKs connect a mobile app to the app channel. They share one contract and one behaviour: the same events in the same order, automatic retries, long-poll with resume, and a token provider so the app never holds your server credentials.
| Platform | SDK |
|---|---|
| React Native / web | TypeScript |
| Flutter | Dart |
| iOS | Swift |
| Android | Kotlin |
How it works #
- Your backend, which holds the connection credentials, asks HeySora for a short-lived customer session.
- The app receives only that session and passes it to the SDK through a token provider.
- The SDK sends and receives messages for that customer and refreshes the session through your provider when it expires.
The SDKs have a core layer (transport, state, retries) and an optional UI layer. They support a sandbox mode so you can build against a safe environment first.
